Whether you like her for her music, style, or general zero f**ks attitude, Robyn Rihanna Fenty, is the ultimate #WCW. Originally from Barbados, Rihanna came the states at 16 years old in 2003 and auditioned for Jay-Z during his time as president for Def Jam Records. By 2005 she had sky rocketed to fame, constantly putting out hits over the years, and transitioning from island girl to good girl gone bad. While she started her music career doing pop, she's grown artistically, taking influences from R&B, reggae, hip hop, and EDM. Even with eight successful albums under her belt, Rihanna's legacy stretches far beyond music, stretching into philanthropy, fashion, beauty, and even a few TV and film appearances. But a huge part of Rihanna's empire are her most recent ventures with her beauty and lingerie lines.

In the fall of 2017, Rihanna launched her makeup line Fenty Beauty. Introducing a 40 shade range, from the palest pales to darkest darks, Rihanna kicked off her collection by offering options for demographics that are usually ignored or underrepresented. With this, she opened a dialogue in the beauty community raising questions as to why there wasn't as wide a range of shade options when the demand is so clearly present. It was also named one of Time's 25 Best Inventions of 2017 both for its quality to affordability ratio and emphasis on inclusivity, both for the makeup itself as well as the models used in the campaigns.

And while she has her Fenty x Puma line, collaborations with Dior, Stance and Manolo Blahnik, her most personal fashion leap is her lingerie line Savage X Fenty, which was released earlier this summer 2018. Rihanna explained that she wanted to do lingerie for a while, but that it had to be done right, "it has to be authentic, from me, my perspective...to push past boundaries associated with lingerie and encourage women to embrace their uniqueness, everyone should feel good wearing lingerie." Similar to the way she approached Fenty Beauty's shade range, she has included seven shades of nude with her underwear line, hitting on body positivity as well with sizes in bras ranging from 32A - 44DD and underwear and lingerie XS - 3XL. Rihanna set out to push the boundaries that every women could see themselves in, and instead of just saying that, the Savage X Fenty campaign used models of all sizes throughout social media and as models on the website. The collection offers styles ranging from everyday wear to the "ultra sexy" and more risqué choices, combining cute and edgy to exist in harmony.

If you only know Rihanna from her music, it's time to maybe dig a bit deeper when it comes to Bad Gal RiRi. She has dominated across every medium she has placed interest in, making sure she has 100% creative freedom when it comes to any and all of her business endeavors. A true bad bitch boss.
